Your business software is not actually designed for use by anyone who isn't already a CPA. It is not set up to help or really guide someone who needs to figure out what the forms are, where you can enter data, or anything else. Calculated fields have that little arrow which should take you to where you can enter data, but often it just goes to another entire form or sometimes to a field which is also calculated. The help takes me to tax form info which is also convoluted and archaic. It was kind of a horror and I only managed to get my taxes done by using chatgpt extensively.

I have used H&R Block tax software for many years. Tax filing seems to be more complex every year. H&R Block tax software gets me through it. Check out some IRS regulations and you will see what I mean. I almost seems like a translator is necessary.

Windows 10 user here and ex long time TT user and first time H&R user. My first impressions were an easy transitions, all migrations and financial imports worked as they should.
I did miss finding a Summary of taxes option available for my records and end up printing 9 pages of unnecessary completed tax forms instead.

Very good for individual returns, not businesses

For individual returns the software is very good. For business returns, especially for estates and trusts, the software is extremely weak - very few interviews, meaning for most forms the user is just filling in the form with no guidance.
