The software identifies items that need to be fixed but did not show me how to. The person that I spoke to for 45 minutes suggested that I erase everything I did and then re-enter the data.
Cons: Hard to prepare

Super nice support people when I called. The 1065 business software works like it was programmed around the year 2000, it is on its last legs - works, but ugg.
The 1040 works like it was done around 2010, maybe 2015 to be nice. Better, but sill lacking expected standard features, like ability to click on a cell and hyper link to sources and trace the numbers flow. Does have a lot of built in - filing, states, etc - so spirit is in right place.

I don't have any experience using other software programs with which to compare H&R Block's program, but I thought it was just okay. We successfully filed our return, but we need to file a correction for our 1065 because it somehow put rental expense as rental income. We had to resort to Claude and ChatGPT to correct the errors flagged before we could file, mostly dealing with inventory reconciliation, and the AI programs stated that the problem was a glitch in Block's program that we were required to forcibly override.
Pros: Maximizes refund

There was a glitch in the area for 1099 gross distribution. My federal return was rejected twice and then finally on the third try it went through.
