It does the job. The help feature is of little use. There are some entries and questions that don’t appear in the logical place based on the progression of completing forms.

I have been using this software since it was Tax Cut. Maybe 30 plus years? Software is well set up for a wide range of average taxpayers. Some referrals to “special circumstances” don’t provide links to publications and recommend asking “your tax advisor”. In order to “ask my tax advisor” I might as well have them do my whole tax return. On their software…….. Please add relevant links. Second, imported stock sales, dividends and interest transactions from a broker created a ridiculous number of data verifications. I had 1672 data verifications that required 3-4 clicks each. My index finger is broken. Can these be reviewed in table form to compare to my statements?
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

This software is pretty hard to use. The interview for the S corp version was very difficult and not as good as the interview for the Personal Tax Return module.

My first year using HRB after TuboTax. This was certainly an upgrade. 4 stars and not 5 because of: (1) K1s are at least as good as TT but needs a bit more clarity/instruction esp on Line 20 and all the various letter codes and (2) I found the state returns a bit clunky
