The Federal instructions & examples are very clear & easy to follow. If you use the H&R Block program year after year, they have half of it already done for you. Unfortunately my Michigan Return was NOT clear & very difficlt to know what they were asking for. This may not be the H&R program's fault, but Michigan's taxes.
Pros: Easy to install, Easy to fix issues, Easy to prepare, Easy to import
Cons: Time consuming

I have used H&R for many years and I find their software makes the tax laws easier to understand than any other

Easy to Use and E-File

Always used a professional to do my taxes. He died last year, so this year I decided to use the H&R Block Software to do my own taxes. The software was very easy to use. It asked all the right questions to walk me through the process and allowed me to review the information as many times as needed to make sure I had entered everything correctly. I was also able to print a copy of both my Federal and State returns to review them on paper as well. I was a little nervous about e-filing them, but the process was easy and simple. I will definitely be using the program again next year!!!
