Great detail in the software package !

The reference data in the software package always seems to cover my questions, which makes the usage of the software a 'pleasant journey' !

Best Tax Software

I have used the HR Block programs for several years and generally have been pleased. With 3 businesses to file with my return, this year's software was especially helpful. The only hiccup was that I misplaced my filing code, and it required 4 calls (the last one I actually talked to a person!) before I successfully filed my return. Thanks for the human touch!
Pros: Easy to install, Maximizes refund, Easy to import
Cons: Hard to fix issues

Meets or exceeds features found on TurboTax

Switched to H&R Block after TurboTax's Business/LLC-related price-gouging shenanigans a year or two ago. Since then, I've been very satisfied with H&R Block's personal/business tax product.

Program inserted wrong AGI & Wouldn't change

Had a problem. Program inserted wrong AGI from last year and I could not correct it. The Program would not allow me to access the AGI and change it to what it should have been.

Good but can be a little better

Overall this makes our difficult business taxes rather pain free. I enjoy the option to skip around or to go through page by page. I have a few things I would love to see change. The “back” feature does not allow you to move back to the previous screen but takes you out of the section. Also, I would love to see the option to unclick boxes to help delete unneeded pages. This is a few extra steps and the software often flags you for trying to make an edit on the full forms view.

Orher than the delay on the ‘supposedly electronic state refund still not received’ the overall software is my favorite and exceptionally user friendly!
