Verified Purchase:Yes
Product was sufficient to address routine tax returns (individual and business). However, it had deficiencies in addressing returns involving Schedule K-1 (Form 1065); In fact, filling for returns with a Schedule K-1 included was only supported/available following the April 10 Update (e.g. 5 days before the filing deadline).
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I’m not sure if it is me because I’m getting older or that the product changed significantly from last year‘s H&R product. It seemed harder to navigate and pick up where you left off if you couldn’t do the entire filing in one sitting. I did like the price point however. And will probably use it again next year.

Program was bought in order to report taxes for my wife’s small dance company. Program had issues from the beginning and no one could provide a deadline of when a fix would be made and deadlines were approaching. As a result I had to use a competitor program which I find more complex for what we need. Very disappointing to see this happening. Probably will not use again.

No longer supports importing brokerage data from Merrill Lynch. This was a surprising shock that resulted in a lot of extra time. Had I known they were dropping support for Merrill, I would not have purchased this software.

Good program, requires tax knowledge at this level

I used Block Premium to do my taxes. Some forms were difficult to locate such as Schedule E for Rental Property and sale of home for the exclusion. These forms had to be added in and it was difficult figuring out how to add them in. Also when finished before I could file there were corrections that needed to be made however there were no errors. The program just wanted the numbers to be typed again virtually the same number. Never understood what exactly was the problem with the numbers in the first place and why they needed to be replaced. I am an Enrolled Agent so I know taxes, but without my specialized training I never would have been able to figure this program out.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
