I keep explaining in your surveys how your navigation needs to be improved in the area of itemized lists, but over the last 3 to 4 years I have not seen any change in this functionality. I give up.

Prep is ok, submission turned into a multihour PIA

We purchased the product because we've used it in the past and didn't want take the extra time to become familiar with a different product. The prep went pretty well, about as normal until we submitted our Federal forms. One of the submission options was to receive the refund in a check, which we've always used in the past for a number of reasons. Several weeks after the submission we receive a letter from the IRS saying that all refunds now need to be directly deposited. This set off a 4 hour effort to get the issue squared away. Why present the check option when it's not going to be acceptable to the IRS. After using this software for 25+ years, this is probably our last time. We have a couple of boys and a circle of friends we advise and are going to suggest to them they consider some other solution.

I bought the deluxe plus small business. Not that easy to follow. It was hard to know when it switched from 1040 to schedule c and back.
Fortunately I had some idea how it was supposed to work and figured it out.
