Ive used it successfully for years. On one occasion I had to do my taxes and I was hundreds of miles from home. The tech support team at H&R Block was able to get the software downloaded on my laptop and I was able to remote in and get my data, completing my return on time! Bravo!

Unclear when Married filing jointly, both self employed professionals (artists) , just who submits certain deductions like the mortgage and health insurance payments. The program NEEDS some more guidance in these areas. Thankyou .

I've been filing Massachusetts non-resident returns thru Block for years. Block has not yet produced a version that actually works. It always fails on the K-1s. Even if it worked, it should be much quicker, ie tell us about your MA income, rather than tell us all your income and then subtract the out-of-state income. Basically the product is designed only for residents of Massachusetts.
Pros: Easy to install
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to fix issues, Hard to prepare

Using the product in consecutive years certainly made it easier to understand the questions. However, the help is still nearly useless. The Forms based help is more confusing than intuitive. Recommendation is very qualified
