We use H&R Block tax program for many years now, I find that overall it a good product. There are a two problems that I have and your product does not help me try to understand what I need to do.

Imports from my financial institution were not supported this year after over ten years of being supported, and the TXF import file format does not support the ‘wash sale disallowed loss’ and ‘accrued market discount’ fields for stock sales. My 3 hour tax prep turned into 12 hours.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Every year this Software loses it's mind over the state return. The FIRST time it happened I had to call support and they told me what to do. AL does NOT tax retirement incomes and the FEDERAL government does not provide the expected results .... EXPECTED for taxes to be taxed by AL in boxes on the form 1099-R. On the AL state software side it says the number cannot be ZERO. Yes you can file electronicaly your Fed but AL state will bonk. Then if you go to the forms and correct the "error" by making it 1 or 2 and not zero it still flags it as an error. So you will have to file AL as paper, which is fine if it's not 10'oclock on 4/15 and your printer has paper and you do not owe the state. How H&R cannot get AL process correct is irritating, I suspect this is true for any other state that does not tax retirement income explicitly at the source.

Too expensive for the limited options given with the HR Block software. No ability to import 1099 data for a trust. Incorrect information given by program about how to correct when the IRS does not accept your e-file return. I had to go to google to find the correct solution which was to enter “0” for the previous years AGI when the IRS is lists your previous years taxes as “currently under review”

I waited until April to purchase the software for my complicated tax situation. The software easily handled my situation. My federal and state returns were completed quickly and I was able to file easily before the deadline.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Keep working in windows 10 and I'll be back. Also keep offering through various retailers. Transfer more of last tax years categories amounts not from turbo. Keep the irs form scrollable below fill in about but narrow the screen some both sides, with a little larger print.
