I like the software very much until I get to the review process and have to ma navigate through fix errors. It's confusing and clunky. I also experienced embarrassment when my return was denied because of an important missing form. It was a tax credit form for Healthcare insurance I didn't qualify for and I feel the software should've caught.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

Everything worked except it was rejected over the e-file PIN. The program asked for a 5 digit PIN. We set up 6 digit PINs with the IRS but it wouldn't allow for 6 digits. A prompt told us to look under miscellaneous for allowing 6 digit PINs, but that option didn't show. We had to print and send ( after we had paid for state e-file) Please fix this issue

The personal product (1040) was OK. The reviews at the end were confusing to correct; they only added about 4 hours at the end.
I am still struggling with the business product (1120s). I'm still not done after three 5-hour blocks of time. I have one form that (1) I do not need, (2) I cannot delete, and (3) I cannot efile with it. I can't find the question that added it to my return. Gemini-AI said this particular "ghost form" is a known bug. Grrr...
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

The 2025 tax year software seemed glitchy this year. Particularly with an error not being able to file electronically because of self-employed health insurance deductions along with ACA credits, even though I never received any advanced credits and won't receive any based on income. Also, the s-corp return could only be downloaded on a windows computer, even though the advertised product on all of the vendor's websites said mac compatible.

Personal filing is convenient and solid. Business is clunky and error prone, missing simple details that lead to numerous error codes. It's almost impossible to move business files to a new PC.
