Disappointed

I am disappointed on the business side of this software. HR Block did not mention anything about the new boxes for the federal business credits. That was a significant savings.
If I did not have an accountant review my return I would have missed several thousand dollars in credits.
If I wanted to hire an accountant to review my returns I would not waste the money buying the software.
I am also disappointed in the business and personal communication between the two software programs. This has been a problem for several years.
I would only recommend your product to someone else for the convenience of having all the information entered for the the accountant to easily review.
As for the Indiana system, it should be known before buying the product that it does not have an interview for Indiana. The interviews are why we buy the product.

Past versions worked fine, this year (TY 2018) has problems saving the returns, has made program worthless

Comfortable for years

I migrated to Block over ten years ago. The info carries over year to year. In a day, I prepared Federal and Georgia returns for our family corporation and joint for us. Although I haven’t been audited in years, I am comfortable with Block’s audit guarantee, because they have conditioned me to keep good records. I buy the download each year, as soon as it comes out. The updates are predictable and unbuggy.
Pros: Easy to import documents

Great features but misleading on state filing

Great step through process!
When I purchased premium plus state I assumed I was getting the state filing as part of the package. It wasn't until I was about to file the state that I was surprised to find a charge was to be incurred. I just think the initial software packages need to be clearer.
