It was good comparable to TurboTax and it was cheaper. I did find that it did make more mistakes. There were more errors to correct at the end but it did catch the errors and some of the errors were hard to complete. For example, I had to add in a name and address for position that I have for a company and some other companies, but it wouldn't let you change it in the fields. You'd have to go to a different field and that took you to a different field so it was hard to actually find how to fix the error
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

Making a change to a form to fix an omission was impossible. Ended up deleting it and paying 200 more in taxes just to get it submitted.

Great help preparing files, but problems filing

My return was rejected because last years taxes were recently mailed in on paper (filed late). I assume I have to wait for those taxes to clear the system before I will be able to re-file them. In the meantime, you won't let me file an extension either. I suppose I have to pay you for every re-file too???

I am happy with the program/service but there are places where the explanation is a wee bit confusing. It is getting harder to understand the legalize verbiage, it needs to have the ability to get simpler definitions or descriptions. I have a small business so when purchasing the program pushes towards the small business software but then I only use the regular and I do not understand why I had to pay more. I am not seeing the benefit unless there is some linkage that is not explained very well.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I’ve been using this software brand for 20+ years but this was probably my last. They stopped providing any savings to regular customers. They used to send an offer in the mail with savings code for early purchase. Not anymore. I had a problem with it doubling my mortgage interest and had to go to google to find a fix for this.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
