I have used the program over the past 15 years and it has never failed me. It is a complex program so it does take time to review results for your returns to be accurate and complete. Let's face it, the tax laws change yearly now. Thanks for keeping up with all of the new rules!

1) Cannot change the font size to a larger one causing eye strain
2) In the accuracy review, it simply points you to the tax form but no way to go back to the interview part to review what could be changed. Also in some cases, you cannot change the value in the form directly for some unknown reason.

Last year I bought this product first time. I did not have good experience. But one should not make opinion on one experience. I bought again for this year. I just confirmed my opinion that it is a substandard product. I made a mistake buying it. I will refrain from doing the same mistake again.

The software is still very quirky and difficult to use. It's not easy to navigate around back and forth to various forms, and it requires a lot of interaction with A.I. to help understand what the heck it is asking me. Thanks to ChatGPT for helping get through it this year. I don't have a difficult scenario, but the software makes me feel I need a degree in CPA. Come on people, you've had years to get this right.

Needed Business package in order to file Form 1041 for a trust. Very disappointed in the Business package vs. Deluxe or Premium in terms of user-friendliness. By comparison, the Business interviews gave me little confidence that I was completing the return correctly. Business offered minimal guidance for Federal 1041 and practically none for the State 1041. I could find no option to import 1099 documents, so I had to enter all the information manually. I did not see an option for local storage during initial setup (my preference and what I have used with Deluxe or Premium returns for years) and the package did not indicate where my information is stored for future access.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
