Easy and accurate to use for complex return

I have used H & R Block for 20 years, since 1999. The last 4 years I have done it using H&R Block Premium & Business. We have a tiny business and a tiny farm, one rental, and a few investments. So our return is quite complex, even though the income is not so large.

lacked needed forms

difficult to navigate the report- lack the needed forms I have to file
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Much better value. Was a bit of a learning curve. Loved that I could do both my families trust and our personal taxes, plus efiling our personal taxes was included for free. Gave me some wrong numbers at the end when calculating the estimated taxes for the coming year - based their calculations on what I still owed without realizing that last year's overages had been pre-applied. (ie my total tax was 1,000, the tax still due after my prepayments was $200, and they told me to send in only $50 per quarter for 2019, which would make me drastically underpaid.) Made me wonder a bit, but the other calculations seemed to make sense.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When asked which deduction to use. I simply put in the information. The software calculated both paths. Gave me the results. Made a suggestion on which path I should take, and allowed me to select my choice.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Covers all the basics with clear interview

Software handles earned income, investments, rentals, business, etc. The interview is straightforward and helpful. Could use some better help with causes and solutions when as issue arises.
