Messed up filing for an extension

We got all of my wife's stuff in, saw we were running out of time, so we went to file for extension, e-filing. Product went ahead and sent in completed Tax Return, what there was of it. Now we are technically LATE! Will have to mail in a request for extension one day late, and deal with the IRS going ballistic over what is obviously a half baked return.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Be careful about saving changes

I filed a on-time extension, which was rejected because I had mis-typed one of our social security numbers. I have time before midnight to corrected. I corrected the number, clicked the "save" at the top of the screen, then used the "Take-me-to" I time to go back and file the extension. I ended up electronically filing a day late, because it didn't realize that the changes don't save unto you down to the end of the page and click "next". When this happens, the program should display a message "your changes were not saved".

Works great

I bought this software again this year like I do every year it is worth every penny. One problem this year it would not accept my activation code an it caused me to file late this year. I did get a new code but it was after the dead line so you know that cost.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for rentals and small business

You can file your llc returns, then do your personal returns with your rentals. I love that. When you download stock trades 1098B you have to review each one which is very time consuming. Overall it's a great product for the money.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Great features and vastly improved

This product was very user friendly and excelerated my dreaded experience. Saved me alot of time and searching and was thinking faster than I could. I was very pleased.

Most of the process proceeded well enough. However, when the checking phase began, it was really a tough slog. It tells you to review "issues" and data verification but gives you no idea what to do. It's impossible to make changes, and there are no instructions as to how to handle the high-lighted entries. It took several hours to work my way through the review, and in the end, I have no idea why it suddenly declared that everything was OK.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as good as in the past, glitchy

I have used this product for a number of years and have been very pleased but this years version did not function well. Would exit out on its own and issues with saving and the help menu.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
