I have used HR Blocks software for 30 years. This is the first time my return has been REJECTED because of a form Block didn’t have updated. I’m appalled. Why didn’t the software tell me to WAIT TO FILE. When your returns gets REJECTED it can be really alarming. Then I find out it has nothing to do with me or what I had done.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Questions kept me focused and online. Reviews and assessments of entries allowed b me to correct entries. Was able to complete the filing in just a few days.

I have used this version of H&R Block software for years, not only for 1040 returns but also 1040 returns with self-employment, partnerships and S corporations. I'm completely satisfied with how easy it is to use and the help function that is available. I would recommend this software to anyone who needs to complete various types of returns.

When I downloaded an update, the business software disappeared and was very difficult to install again. I needed the business software for a small business for my parents. I was planning on buying other software, after I took an hour of time trying to get the business software running again. Finally, I got it re-activated. Also, when an update was suggested, it does NOT show what forms are being updated, so I had no way of knowing how my individual tax return or the business return was going to be impacted.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

bought this because turbo doesnt work w win 7 stil cant find out if my state return was filed federal was difficult and misleading
