Ok for some businesses, poor guidance on others

I have used this product several years for my S Corp, it was fine. This year was my first time filing for a partnership LLC, and I was disappointed. The program doesn’t step thru all the required yes/no questions, so those don’t show up until the final error check. It also offers no guidance whatsoever in reconciling the balance sheet schedules. Even though I know where the numerical difference lay, I couldn't tell where to put the entries.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works well for 1040 forms, ok for 1041 forms. $$$$

The product worked well though the Business version which includes the 1041 Forms is a bit clunky & obviously not to the same standard as the 1040 Forms.
State tax forms are included for a single state but electronic filing costs extra. A 2nd state tax form can be purchased at half the price of the full business package & that still doesn't include electronic filing.

After a glitch which took longer to be given a fix (which was easy) the software went fairly fast and easy.
Only complaint is the same one I have had for several years, the error list needs to stay up, instead of rechecking the entire thing each time I fix ONE error. Most errors being that I missed some check boxes on a single form in different places, which could be fixed quickly if the list stayed up until done. just add a "update list button and recheck like it does anyway when preparing for filing. Other than that easy.
