I have income from a pension, 401k, and 2 different self employment 1099's, as well as numerous dividend, interest and stock sale results. Outside of hiring a tax pro, H&R Block software is an excellent choice to navigate the complexity of tax returns. Been using for 5 years now, and will use again.

Best Tax-Prep software I've ever used

I've used professional tax return software for over 25 years. For the average majority of returns, this software beats them all.My opinion rating for 1040 returns is 5 stars - For 990-EZ, 4 1/2 stars. - Haven't rated it yet for C-corps, S-corps or LLC's yet.

I have used H & R Block software since the late 1990's. At that time it was called Tax Cut. I tried to switch to another once, but did not like it, so I came back to Tax Cut. I have never had trouble with the software until this year. I could not get part of it to install, called the customer service was very helpful to my problem. Thanks. I am a loyal customer.
