The cost is reasonable, but the Partnership 1065 was difficult to use. When answering the questions on the form, at times the checkmark would not appear. Also, it was difficult to find and fix errors.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Business Software is used for a family trust with a small and simple income stream. Learning to answering the right questions and inserting date in the right place while skipping the rest has taken a bit of learning. The results are good. The software for my family taxes is simpler than the business, however, there is more complicated information to insert into the program. I am able to use both programs quite will.

Mediocre: Trouble finding all the right input for K-1s. Switched to a new operating system after completing. Had a time trying to find out move Bus 25 to new operating system.--simple enough but no clue from anywhere on what the steps were. (Not related) Had to "run as administrator" initially,; didn't know this. Partnership worksheets are really clunky. Forms needs to be slicked up etc. etc.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used the business and home versions several years. Interviews are straight forward and information is carried forward, eliminating a lot of manual labor. However this year my business package would not electronically transmit. Two unnessary forms were added to the business package. I had to manually remove them and mail the filing. New Coinbase reports did not easily match the interview, giving me errors. I did not have such problems in the last five years.
