I have not been able to get the business software to work on my laptop. Have used this software and laptop for the last 3 years to prepare and file returns. I spent over an hour on the phone with an agent and a case was opened. It has been over 6 days and I have heard nothing from the help desk. Poor customer services is going to move me to another vendor

Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was a terrible experience. What's worse is that I found out that the problems that I encountered with distributions from my retirement accounts have been present for many years, and no attempt has been made to correct them. I had to invoke the services of AI to give me a work-around. Turbo-Tax never had these problems. Sears probably did not know it, but you guys did them a favor when you parted ways in 2012.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Was very hard to install the business program back in November until new updates came in late December/early January, much to late to make changes to business spending/income. Worked well doing partners return after that and the personal return, but when i did my daughters personal return it kept telling me it couldn't finish efiling and to try again. It final went through after needing to pay for the federal and the state efile with a credit card??? The problem there was we were charged twice for the state and 3 times for the federal efiles and there should have been 4 Fed efilings left!!! Tried using chat with no luck it takes way to long but got the 800 number from chat. Called the 800 number and after fighting with your PIA!!!!! answering system for about a half hour I was finally able to speak to a Rep who was very understanding. She checked and found that there were still 3 federal efilings left and we had only used 2 filings so far that were mine and my daughters, so we shouldn't have been charged for the federal efile at all. The charges she said were pending and that the unneeded ones should fall off but if they didn't I would need to call back for a credit after they were actually posted. What a PIA once again fighting through your answering system to talk to a rep to get back what shouldn't have been charged in the first place!!!

Better price than competition but challenging to use. The Business version produces K1s with items the Personal version cannot handle. Don't the developers of the two programs talk to each other? Distribution deduction in the Business program is clumsy & cryptic. State interviews leave a lot to be desired -- more like "here's the form, you figure out how to fill it out."
