Easy to use

I have used HR Block for the last 5 years. I find it easy to use and understand. I would definitely recommend this to everybody.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Over the years I used another tax preparation software until they drastically increased their prices forcing me to find another with a more reasonable cost. Switching to H&R Block was the best decision I could have made in doing my taxes. The program is much easier and more accurate than the other. I like how the software points out areas I may have missed or need my attention. The other did not! My only regret is I didn't switch to H & R Block sooner!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

in midst of filing online after did everything including entering my credit card and answering everything prog asked for a signed pdf doc. could not get to the help menu could only cancel -- then what happens to my credit card and all other info i put in? why was this not checked in final check before i started filing??

This is the second year I have used the small business owners software. As an accountant, it is the best I have used and will continue to do so. I liked the added feature this year of using information to authenticate the tax return refund recipient. besides the small business I can also do tax returns for family members as I can send in five returns to IRS included in the package.
Pros: Maximizes refund

I bought H&R again this year because it was a better deal. However, once I got going I wished I had bought TurboTax. Some my investments didn't have auto download with H&R but did with TurboTax. So if you have investments then Block may not be the best out there.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
