The help information for determining what should go in each field is almost non existent. The SW was no help at all in determining a businesses gross receipts from rentals shouldn't be entered into the gross sales and receipts box. It is good SW if you know all the tax nuance, but if you know the tax nuance you wouldn't need the SW anyway.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

Program worked well, but I had a part in my 1099B which required me to override Box C on Form 8949 with a short term gain. The program wouldn't download my Schwab 1099 either which was dissappointing. But when I uploaded my file with the IRS it errored and wouldn't accept the override on Form 8949 so I had to reenter it another way. Ultimately it worked but those were my two biggest grips.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Poor communication, confusing application support

I purchased premium with business for about the ninth year in a row. Personal loaded and worked fine, Business would not. After 5 phone calls and at least 7 hours on the phone someone finally figured our that personal would load on Windows 10, but Business needed Windows 11. My computer was too old, so I told them I was buying a new Mac. I was told to call back to load Business onto that. When I called back Business is also not supported on the MacBook.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not too happy with the software; had to wait for updates to fix problems during verification that still didn't get fixed. Software not updated for K-1 entries to match what IRS uses.
