Completed my return and saved it so I could gather the personal information needed for the electronic submission like driver's license and bank account info. When I returned to the program and tried to access my return, the software said the file was not accessible. What a nightmare!!!
The program recommended I check and install updates, and then try to access the file. Of course that did not work, and I had to start the filing process all over again including having to reinstall the state program. This was not the first glitch I experienced with the 2019 software. Also had a similar problem with the business software losing a filing and having to completely start over -- what a massive waste of my time and effort. The 2019 has been nothing but problematic and will cause me to switch to Turbo-Tax for 2020

Unless you have tax experience or EXTREMELY simple taxes - this is not good software. It's basically a form filler, not an actual interview/tax prep IMHO. I found it very clunky and did not enjoy using it, i'll happily go back to paying a CPA next year.

Great for simple returns. Anything out of the ordinary you get referred to read a publication from the irs website. With “premium” it seems like it should cover just about everything.

I’ve been using h and r block personal software for years. I just purchased the business software. It was terrible. Would not allow to efile due to signature errors. Why wouldn’t there be an e signature option? I couldn’t access depreciation forms to print and mail. Basically had to print them off of internet and fill in by hand. Waste of money.
