The business side of HR block premium is terrible. Turbotax business walks you through it and uses better guidance the HR block. I would not buy the business side ever again. Learn something from Turbotax business on the business side of things. The personal has always been good. My wife was on the phone with multiple different agents literally for 7 hours to get the business errors resolved.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I have used H&R Block Premium & Business for 8 years to prepare tax returns for several Trusts as well as my personal taxes. The results have been accurate and the software questions and screens guide me reasonably well through all the forms. I like being able to open different forms in the actual return as I am answering questions in order to understand how my answer will appear in the form. It has allowed me to quickly determine how changes in Trust distributions affect my personal taxes. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because the link for the Distribution Deduction took me in a circle until I overrode an empty linked entry.
Pros: Easy to prepare

The Business program is too “legalese” compared to the Premium program. It requires multiple readings to understand what information was required. It was hard to grasp for the first time business owner.

The business software is okay. Not at all intuitive. But the price is right. I have small business (S Corp), and it is very straight forward. The H&R Business software includes the Prem. personal (Fed and State) tax software. Once you understand how to navigate it is excellent.

I use H&R Block Premium & Business evey year and get great results. I create a spreadsheet and just enter all my numbers in as I go through the interview.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
