I would like you to resolve the glitch regarding efiling a 1040 return for a deceased person.
During the interview questions, I clearly check the button the indicates that I am the Court Appointed Representative.
Yet each time I try to efile, I get a rejection notice which states... "You have indicated that you are not the court appointed representative of the decedent."
Please resolve this discrepancy.

I bought this because i wanted to try to do a trust return. Gave up fairly quickly and ended up using a CPA, which left me to do a couple of individual returns. Should have bought the Deluxe plus State and get a free state return. Will not make that mistake next tax season. Still working on the individual return for self and daughter. Also, i had bought a new computeer and had to juimp through hoops to get last year's return added to the new computer where it would open and pull data for the 2025 return.
