At the end when H&R review you taxes . They should break it down or simplify it more. Then I won’t have to guess the questions or statements.

The business software is no good, but personal edition is professional and nice which I have been used for over a decade. However, I got glitch on e-file due to software defect. It was so tough to contact and guide me final solution. So I will NOT recommend this software to anyone.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents

this version was too confusing with redundancy of the same questions and interviews in two different parts. Not allowing to uncheck certain questions and then being forced to reiterate portions of interviews on the more or less same subject was irritatingly confusing, annoying and ultimately damaging to the process.

The business part of the software does not work. When it comes to the state section of the software (in my case California) the computer locks up. Getting help from H&R Block is like pulling teeth. Several hours in a waiting loop and when you finally get somebody to talk to, you get transfered to a more experienced person (again after a long wait). I worked with that person for over an hour. We did not get the software to walk. He asked me to send him some files. He acknowleded the arrival of the file and told me after analysing the data by specialists somebody will call me back. That was in the beginning of March. I am still waiting for that call. I am late with my business tax return.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was a great deal. The software was very explanatory and thorough. And, very reasonably priced, and frequently updated for federal and state regulations. The option of utilizing on my laptop and storage on my external hard drive was a great feature for me.

I didn’t need the business software I paid for. Wasted a little money on products I didn’t need.
There was an error in the processing between my son’s fathers and my claim over our son, so my stuff was denied. I have always claimed HH and he claims our son, this year they wouldn’t allow it. Weird.
