It seems to be getting more difficult to navigate your way to specific places to make adjustments/changes. I bought the Small Business Owners Premium & Business version because with it I would "Get guidance for, prepare, and file... (Form 1041). When I entered Line 14 Code I, it was suggested that I needed to consult an outside professional. I was disappointed to spend the extra money for software that seemed to include what I needed and not get it.

The software works great, I have been using it for over 10 years. This year, even though it imports my last years info, etc. it asks me to verify it is me by calling a phone number and being put on hold for 45 minutes to answer questions to verify identity, which could have been done in 2 minutes with a web page to verify it is me with the same exact questions.

You could be better at what you do best. For instance, why do you import data from the previous year but the most important 1099 misc that is the bulk of my business and has been for 15 years doesn't import ? I have to retype all of them in again.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents

Used for years. Something is wrong with this years program. Update killed my computer. After that could not get program to run. Had to wipe drive, reload windows and start all over. This is totally unacceptable.
GO FOR TURBO TAX. Used to be a Turbo tax user, and will be again. Turbo tax may have had problems but it never screwed my computer up.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
