The program was useless. Support for software malfunctions was unavailable. There is no interview for the California State business tax and no pro support.
Cons: Time consuming

couldn't even download without contacting the company and getting a "new, one time use" code, clearing and and all blockers (ads) and after that the program was a pain.

Seems like I should not have to search previous year tax return to for required infomation when I have aleady imported the last year data.
I lost a lot of day when the program crashed will printing a PDF rigt befor supmitting to the IRS. I had not saved in a while and and had to redo a large portion. It would be nice to have a remider to save data. The issues check seemed alitle buggy also.

Form 1041 is a glorified typing chore with great frustration in its logic and flow. Have you tried to fill it out without confusion even though you had done it a year before? And you still can not waste paper trying to print it out on a two-sided copy for filing? Does any single programmer on Form 1041 really understand all of the required inputs flowing intelligently starting from the first screen for input to the last screen?
Cons: Hard to prepare

EZ to use even with my fairly complicated return. Info available to dive deeper when needed (most of the time), and additional support if you get stumped(I didn't use the effort help).

Having worked with other softwares in the past I’m actually amazed how such not user friendly software still exists. Save time and aggravation and buy turbo tax.
