There was only one paper i had a little trouble finding how to file but i got it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

There is no way to enlarge the font. Makes it very difficult to see. Very difficult to ensure all input is correct. Too small print.

Paid for Business Software. It was unnecessary. Block should have mentioned who specifically needed the business version. The Premium was all our business needed.

Here's the biggest and most frustrating problem with this tax software. If your taxes get rejected from e-filing, this software doesn't take you directly to the problem so you can fix it. You practically have to go through your entire taxes and "hopefully" see what needs to be corrected..

Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

This is the worst tax software I've ever used. It is the most difficult to use and very hard to understand the instructions. Next year I'll pay more and go back to the program I used previously.

The 1040 software should include a Net Operating Loss worksheet similar to Worksheet 1 of IRS Publication 536. If I had not created this myself on Excel, I would have paid $1300 more in taxes and miss out on a $500 refund from the state. The software is difficult to use for partnerships unless you have experience in partnership preparation.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
