I've been using it for a few years. It's surprising that it still does not have e filing for extension like competition.
Paper mail for extension isn't good.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

This program is NOT up to your usual high quality, it reeks of AI nonsense, it was confusing, jumped around, kept asking me for the same data over & over. I have no idea which program I will use next year.

I have used H. R. BLOCK for many years. Tge tax code iscthere for our use as citizens of the United States of America. Not using it is sad reality of people's inability and reluctance to take the time to enhance their own finances.

Verified Purchase:Yes
Needed Business package in order to file Form 1041 for a trust. Very disappointed in the Business package vs. Deluxe or Premium in terms of user-friendliness. By comparison, the Business interviews gave me little confidence that I was completing the return correctly. Business offered minimal guidance for Federal 1041 and practically none for the State 1041. I could find no option to import 1099 documents, so I had to enter all the information manually. I did not see an option for local storage during initial setup (my preference and what I have used with Deluxe or Premium returns for years) and the package did not indicate where my information is stored for future access.

The software is still very quirky and difficult to use. It's not easy to navigate around back and forth to various forms, and it requires a lot of interaction with A.I. to help understand what the heck it is asking me. Thanks to ChatGPT for helping get through it this year. I don't have a difficult scenario, but the software makes me feel I need a degree in CPA. Come on people, you've had years to get this right.
