The business software is not as refined as the 1040 software. It should be!

This software is easy to use, asks all the pertinent questions, imports previous years info. Saves time, checks for accuracy and take the dread out of filing.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not Dependable, Disappointing

I have been using H&R Software for more than 10 years. I mostly use CD download which I keep in case I need to reinstall. I never needed to reinstall until this year when my computer had problem. Now it is practically impossible to reach their tech support either by phone or online. Their direction for reinstall is not working. They just want me to pay again (higher than the purchase price I paid) to get another one with no guarantee that it will ever work. This is sticker shock disappointing for a firm I had considered reputable.
If you ever would use any of their products, better consider it good for only a few days and as 1 time use.

It stops working and, no way to find your file

All of a sudden it fails to start even after uninstalling and re-installing, and there is no way to find your file outside of the application...Terrible!!

Much better than all the other software

I have used other tax preparation software for many years, but this year for the first time I used H&R Block. It was much better quality, much easier, and much more thorough than other software. I recommend everybody use it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Very good and has gotten better and cleaner each year. Some difficulty with Foreign taxes paid on passive income all unsupported info entries regarding some entries on K1.
Pros: Easy to prepare
