awkward and incomplete initial questionnaire entry section. This leads to many errors in the end. Most of those errors are not actually used in the final forms sent to IRS. Example: The errors I got were pertaining to itemized deduction, but I just used the standard deduction. The other area is when you try to make a correction to fix those errors found. It is almost impossible to make those changes. Rather than actually taking you back to the place you need to make the correction, they take you to the form where the error occurs. Often fight several times to get back to the actual entry to get out of the error issue.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this software has a problem every year, this year it wouldnt transfer data from the previous year. After a series of file renames etc, the errors were fixed. the software should be user tested before being sold.

The business part of the package could be completely disabled by a Windows update. After the update you will not be able to start the package. Please keep in mind that the update will disable all last year packages as well. After you learn how to handle the problem the package is reasonable good and inexpensive.
