The business side is literally the worst piece of software I have used. It would hang all the time, slow as molasses. Really it offered no help beyond just being an over complicated calculator. Oh, and forget trying to check for issues with the return - go make a cup of tea after you hit that button, because it is going to be a while. I should have just used the 1065 and done it by hand. The individual side was fine, but they all are.
I have had many issues; this year the trust program crashed frequently; the trust program couldn't find last year's files, requiring me to re-populate all of my personal and 1099 info (why stay with the same software year after year if there's no benefit from having prior year data?); and trust side state program I might as well do myself on paper, as there is minimal interview and no rules or instructions in the program. I think next year I go back to Turbo Tax.
The first problem is that it appears to only be sold in downloadable format, which means that if you lose your passcode to download and have computer problems, you’re out of luck. Also, this year’s version had numerous glitches, causing me to have to re-enter my basic information repeatedly.
