I like the fact that there was no significant up selling, just a little. I bought the premium plus business because I needed a schedule C. I think the premium alone would have done it. You need to know something about taxes to navigate this product, it is not idiot proof. Good records help also. Let’s see how things proceed audit wise before a 5th star is awarded. Helps if you had last years return in front of you.

I love the software but when I tried to load a 2nd version to help others in my family, it would not allow me to delete it or transmit so I essentially wasted the cost of the 2nd purchase.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I've used it for years with no problems. The guided entries were more helpful for readily/quickly finding information rather than sending me to IRS publications to find it myself and carried forward more entries from previous years to accept or reject, but I'm used to it. I've never used any other tax prep programs. I like this one because it covers S Corps and personal as well.
