Partnership questions based on receiving a K 1 from another partnership are vague. It would be better if the questions asked were tied directly to the numbers reported on the K1 received from another partnership and where to enter them.

The personal tax software is quite good. However, the Small Business software is AWFUL !!! It seems difficult to navigate, the cues are not at all intuitive, and I could not not get several key forms that needed. This is not a new issue. The Small Business software has been awful for too many years, and does not seem to be improving.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

It is pretty straight forward but there were a few areas I felt like I needed to be a CPA to understand.
Pros: Easy to prepare

I have used H and R block software to do my taxes for years. I've never had any issues and always had accurate returns submitted, accepted, and processed by the IRS and my state's department of revenue.

The software is clumsy and temperamental. If I close the business software, I need to restart the computer in order to reopen it the next time. The error messages are cryptic and in the end I just mailed the return because I couldn't get it to send. I also had to reenter all the data for the corp returns as the data didn't transfer. It needs work.
