You charged me twice for state return and they have not accepted it.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

I have used H&R Block for years and this year I did again. The software is easy to use and I feel confident I am staying out of trouble with the IRS using this program.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

I've used H&R Block's software tools for many years. I've found them very intuitive and helpful for my annual filing. They provide good explanations and resources and do frequent updates to eliminate bugs and keep the tool current.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

Walks you through step by step. Only negative part was having to buy a state tax return software and then pay to e-file it - May sure that you are going to get back at least $100 to make it worth it

Good features but hard to navigate

I have used H&R block for a few years, and for personal and home business - does a good job. This year I needed to create a simple trust and file Federal and AL state so bought the Business package.
What a disappointment. Did all of the input and went to file Fed and state. Would not allow. The message received was "print and mail."

I can't check the status of my amended return because the program gives conflicting instructions such as I had to mail it in because it was amended while it had already been e-filed and accepted by the IRS. At least I think it has. Also, it used to be that the help tab gave explanations of the screen you were on but now sends you to a bunch of websites.
I would recommend this to a friend!
