Personal is Excellent, Business Module is Awful

I've been using H&R/TaxCut for over 20 years. The personal module has always been quick, intuitive, robust, and an excellent value. It gets 5 stars from me. The business module offers a very good price point for its category but it's always been awful - clunky, buggy, primitive interface, and thin on help/cross-reference/drill-down. There's no interviews for the state program so you better know your way through those forms. Weirdly, the personal program runs on Win 7 in sprightly fashion but the archaic business program requires Win 10 and runs like cold molasses. I put up with the business module only because I'm seasoned in its weaknesses. However I'd be furious with its performance if running it for the first time, and I'm stunned that it's never improved over the decades. Block is clearly buying the business package from another entity and putting their brand on it.

I did not need this particular software. It provide me with a "business" package, that I did not use or had a need for. My business info was put in the 1st software that was downloaded. Is there any way of you refunding me the difference of what I paid for this one and the one just below it?
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

Only thing it has going for it is the low price

After using TurboTax for many years, I was tempted by the low price for the premium and business package. I found that the business program could not adequately get the data from last year's TT business program, while the Premium did so with minor issues. That was the least of the issues I encountered. I found the program clumsy and non-intuitive, and I consider myself relatively skilled in software usage. There were also many instances where it seemed that the form did not talk to the interview, and the program did not remember settings from previous steps. I could go on and on, but to make a long story short, I will probably go back to TurboTax for 2022.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent

I switched to H&R Block after using TurboTax for about 20 years and finding TT made me overpay tax. I love it. It is less expensive than TT. Its phone support is great. I hope they also have forum support.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

The filing portion was okay but the warning messages were obtuse. I tried efiling and had issues. Chatting was a bust!

cannot open a saved returns

I efile a tax return and received an email saying accepted. When I go back and open that return but cannot open it. Please give me a telephone number I can call in order to solve this problem.

Has a guarantee and checks over your returns

Said I was supposed to get $1500+ had state and federal filed. Afterwards said state wasn't filed and the IRS returned $16. No not $1600, $16, h&r blocks "guarantee" isn't worth it
