I had both the Federal and State returns corrected by the IRS based on calculations from your software. I almost switched to Turbo Tax this year already as your software is much less intuitive, but since I already used H&R software last year I did not as it would have been a pain. Now, I wished I would have went ahead and made the switch. I will be making the switch next year.
Cons: Time consuming

You still have whole forms where very little guidance is given, and you are stuck filling the form directly largely on your own. I guess you get what you pay for.
