too many bugs, inaccurate calculations for LLC K1 forms and way more complicated to use than it use to be. Simple payroll returns throughout the year no longer work. too frustrating to use.

I have used this product since it was called TaxCut. It is easy to use, especially for simple returns, and can handle more complicated stuff just as well. When combined with the tax reports produced by Quicken, preparing a return is straight forward and I'm "doing my taxes" every day when I enter transactions into Quicken using the appropriate tax categories. This spreads out the effort across the tax year and leaves me very little additional preparation work when it's time to create a return. As a residential landlord, having my Schedule E produced with a very simple and straight-forward process is a real blessing.
A couple of years ago, I decided to run a head-to-head comparison with TurboTax, and was unimpressed with the latter. I found it more difficult to use and did not find any advantage to using TurboTax, so I continue to use Block's software.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
