Chat support is very poor and does not offer tax advise without paying an additional fee - Very sucky and will be trying a new tax program next year after 15+ years with HRB

Even with all the tax issues surrounding the pandemic, including the tax subsidies to families, additional child tax credits, etc all information was up to date!!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I liked that it asked me question to make sure I was in the right place and form. I would have liked to be able to see a filled in form a little easier, but once I got use to it I was ok. I did not like that I had to pay for every state I did once I purchased the program. Also a brand new form was not available even in the up dates. However I have recommended the program to many friends and will continue to use this one next year.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents

Some of the workflow is a little clunky, but H&R Block seems to be a pretty solid product. I have used it for years and had not IRS issues.

Cumbersome. Had to buy this since the Deluxe didnt have the trust part I needed. Of course they say it did every thing.

Clumsy, harder to use than the H&R Premium software that I used to.
It made a mistake calculating the refund amount causing me to later to have to repay the IRS extra plus penalties !
