I does the job, if you accommodate the software

It’s still for windows only; which is an embarrassment to the industry. H&R, Write the software in Java and instantly get multi-platform capabilities and broaden your audience. That, and please support HiDPI out of the box, warning about resolution being too low on HiDPI 2.5k monitors is a bit silly.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

2022 income tax return software from H&R Block

The software asks the same questions over and over again. It imported my brokerage statement twice.
The software was unable to properly handle my inherited Roth IRA.
This bug-riddled software costed me three extra hours (above what it should have been). I'd give you 1 star, but I'm feeling generous today.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

I have used H&R Block tax software for years, and have never had any issues. All the forms and instructions needed are easily accessible, and the Interview guides you thru the entire process.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

H&R Block Business is a complete fail. It crashes every time I enter the state software section. The Federal Business section was very confusing to fill out. The Premium Home Edition is a much higher quality product. I had to switch to Tax Act for the Complex Estate reporting that I needed to do. That package was much easier to use.

State filings are expensive. Keep getting error that 990 efile not yet approved by irs despite updating forms. Same problem as last year. Customer support unable to help, says it is approved. Eventually i had to redownload and redo all my forms last year. Aggravating that problem still not fixed this year.

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
