I purchased this version because we have a very small business for schedule C. Previous Business software integrated together the features of the business product with normal tax filing, so I purchased it again. The business package installed as a separate program and would not import my previous returns. After beginning a new business returns using this program, the software indicated that I could use the general tax filing program that contains enough functionality do the filing we need for the business. It would have been nice to have a better understanding of how to get going and what software I needed to use. Everything worked similarly to the previous years versions to successfully file my returns.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used this software forever and before that Tax Cut. It works very well. I have validated the computations manually on numerous occasions and they have been correct.

Some explanations of items could definitely be clearer and more to the point, with maybe a short description then more detailed info with real world applications for those that want to get more info. Also, a better explanation before purchase on who needs Premium and business versus just premium.

After nearly 10 years using HRB tax software, it appears someone in the programming department slept late a few mornings
Something as simple as making the text legible should be covered in session one of the programming class. What kind of nonsense is putting micro-text in pastel green on a white background? Scrolling the text to larger images only helps when the increased size exceeds screen area.
Shutting down for an evening should be simple. Not so. Partially finished return was prematurely submitted to IRS on a mid-return evening shutdown. A subsequent request for an extension was accepted. Amazingly,
both the unfinished return AND the request for extension were transmitted back to me at the same time, both "accepted"..

Sad day when government software and procedures are faster and simpler than the "experts.".
Taking the entire package to a human enrolled agent. I expect one can fix it up[ by October.
