The 1040 software is good. HOWEVER, the business software has numerous BUGS and is difficult to navigate. It's not nearly as refined as the 1040 sw. Why????

It appears to have some bugs

I imported my w2 pdf. It showed that it imported. I could see it. During the Accuracy review it told me that it was missing my address, city, state and zip from my w2. It was clearly in the input screen but it never populated to the actual irs form. I had to manually add it. It also said the box 12 code (DD) was invalid. It is a valid code, it appeared on the irs form (unlike the address). I submitted the return and it was rejected by the irs because of an invalid code in box 12. I went to the form and selected DD from the dropdown and resubmitted the return and it was accepted. There is clearly an issue with importing w2s in PDF format.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

This software had more bugs than a can of raid could handle. Technical support was virtually non-existent. The amount of time it took to try to resolve all the issues with this software pushed our tax return past the deadline.
