I would give it zero stars if possible since the software was unable to import from last year’s Business software. I even installed it on two different windows computer and neither was able to import the previous year’s software.
This means, after decades of using the software (since the days of “Tax Cut”) I will have to switch to Turbo Tax because I believe there is no way their software will be unable to import from a previous year’s product.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used Taxcut for 15 years without a problem. But I lost 8 hours this year trying to get the transmittal of the tax return to the IRS. A disaster. And of the rejections I was told that my AGI or my PIN were both wrong and I repeated the exercise time and again and both the AGI and PINs were correct. I finally gave up, printed the return, and mailed in. But I wasted 8 hours of my time. I will try again next year.....but after that I got a different softward.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the product and how it works. I have used H&R Block software for 35 years. But. For the last 2 filings I have used "Premium & Business". This product puts 2 separate programs (Premium & Business) on your computer. For the last 2 filings I have only used the "Premium" program. I don't want or need to file 2 separate returns. For 2 years I have tried unsuccessfully to find out which product I should purchase and use for my personal and very small business schedule C.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Very good tax software and simple entry process

The H&R Block tax software is a good product. It's easy and effective to use.
I've been a Turbo Tax user for the past 20 years or so but decided to switch this year. I did find the H&R Block interview process to be geared a bit more toward someone used to the terminology on the actual tax forms where TT uses questions more geared toward a more average person. I also ran into a couple situations where the H&R Block software indicated that a form wasn't included and I should manually complete it.
