Easy to buy and install. Been using HRB for a long time and it's good it remains unchanged and consistent. A few buggy things noted. Some difficulty finding help with more advanced forms like K-1's. Program crashed at the end when submitting and transmitting returns. I had to update and re-enter data to complete returns. I was charge twice for state return and will request refund.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

However. Sometimes it is hard to figure out what to do, eg., when partnership is sold to another partner, it is hard to figure out how to enter data from the K-1 and accurately provide the capital gain. QBI is auto rest to "0" if more than 10 K-1 QBI's are entered.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund

This product got the job done but is not nearly as polished as more basic versions. I used it for a one-off filing for an estate opened in support of probate. Good enough for that, for sure. I was pleased that the basic version I use for my family’s returns was included.

I find the business software, specifically the 1041 and it-205 almost impossible to navigate as a result I could NOT recommend it to anyone.

Been using HRB for several years now, but the Business portion still has some serious flaws. It skips past questions that need to be answered, then requires you to go back and try to find them during review. Personal portion seems okay.
