I have used your product for a lot of years, one item I have had trouble with is un-checking item and receiving a pop-up "Unchecking this item will not delete any information" even after deleting the information I am still unable to uncheck the box.
Easy to use going forward. Not clear directions for going back to address issues identified at the end.
Had to contact IRA consultant to get minimum withdrawal information then entry of info into program not clear and had to figure out, through trial and error, how the data was supposed to be correctly entered.
I've been using this program for years and find it very good but would like to see one change. I am in Ohio and when I e-file a Federal and Ohio return with automatic withdrawal of funds from a bank account, only the Federal "acceptance" page has any information about the automatic withdrawal of funds. The Ohio "acceptance" page doesn't have anything about the withdrawal on it's acceptance page. Any way this can be changed to add that information to the Ohio acceptance page?
Overall fine, but the state program hung when installing & I didn't think it had worked. Fortunately when I went back into the program it had installed. Also my return was flagged for errors that should not have occurred because I answered the interview questions correctly. Still better than paying for the exorbitantly expensive TurboTax though.
Buggy, wouldn't update, incorrect calculations on several Schedule C items. And then unable to efile due to their servers going down. Past the due date now and still no idea if our attempts worked. Software says we need to file but then system rejects filing saying it has already been submitted. There is no confirmation of that. On top of that, company denied and then downplayed problems without offering assistance or explanations. And then said problem was fixed when it had not been. And still has not been, well in to April 16.
It was helpful to file my taxes. I want to say it was great, however I had to process to file 3 times before it actually went through. Likely a glitch, but I probably won't use the product again.
In general, I have been very happy with H&R block premium over the years. This year it failed me by not providing form 7203 so that it could be submitted as required. This was related to K-1 issues with my south Carolina return that the software warned me prevented electronic transmittal and then a LOT of printing and a dash to the post office.I will probably have to switch to turbo tax which does have form 7203 and I understand no problems transmitting SC K-1 related forms.
