BEEN USING YALL FOR GOD KNOWS HOW MANY YEARS NOW. REALLY MESSED UP THIS YEAR WITH THE SITE BEING DOWN ON APRIL 15TH. IM A DISABLED VETERAN 100% WITH PTSD. THIS PUT ME INTO A PANIC ATTACK WHERE I HAD TO TAKE 3MG OF XANAX TO COME OUT OF IT. I CAN NOT BE PUT INTO ANY STRESSFUL SITUATIONS AND THIS WAS EXTREAMLY STRESSFUL FOR ME.

The business software cannot retrieve or refer to previous years returns. A change from windows 10 to 11 is the cause. The personal did not have this problem. I have been using H&R Block for years. This is the second time this same problem. Recalculating depreciation and other carry over item was a real pain. Not sure if I will purchase tax season.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents

All the work I put in and couldn’t even eFile!

I spent hours going back and forth between the business and the premium software (why you can’t use 1 software is beyond me) only to be unable to eFile when I was complete. The server must have been down. I took down all firewalls and had a strong internet connection. Will no longer be using H&R Block software.
Cons: Hard to prepare

As a result of H&R Block's server failure on tax day, and their rep's advice to not E FIle but submit a paper return to both state and federal, I ended up filing 2 return to both entities. That means paying my taxes TWICE. I am out hours of time trying to solve this issue, plus the bank fees to stop payments, and I dread what else might be coming.

We have used this software a very long time. Most of the time, it is helpful. Some of the time, it requires further explanation not in the help menu. This year, 2024, was a mess with the due date filing issues. Even afterwards when supposedly fixed, the software wouldn’t update.
