Easy to use but my returns wouldn't submit to HRB because the server was busy and I was charged for the state each time I tried to submit it again, I got 5 charges on my credit card for trying to get through to the server.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

the way was made the program, you might think that everything will go well, but even if you answered correctly at all the questions at the end, you are surprised that you have many errors that you had no idea from where pop-ups, and the explanation the program offered to fix them, is confusing, the system doesn't let you make the changes easily, and you must start from the beginning to answering again to all the questions. I was "forced" to start 5 times from the beginning, and still was impossible to change the information. that's why I was not able to file, but to go to the Post Office to send it by mail.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Prefer the Premium Software Over the Tax Person Ex

This software is much faster than using a Tax Person, and a lot less expensive too. It could use some improvement in clarity in a few sections, but overall, it was a great choice for me for 2022 and 2023 taxes.

Software is easy to use, have been using for several years. However, I was one of many people caught by trying to submit on April 15th, but ran into HRBlock server problems with the only warning within the software. Would have been much more helpful to receive a text or email warning.

I inputted all my documents. On Sunday the 14th I hit send. The IRS rejected it. Your program included earned income that I was no eligible for. Then your servers went down and caused me terrible stress. I will most likely use free file next year. Thanks for nothing

Software is good but the server error was not fun

I had been using this software for a few years now. But this time they had a server error "bad gateway" starting April 14th & didn't get fixed barely few min from post office closing, truly a nail biter. Couldn't even file for extension either. Printed out everything as I got in the car tried again at 3.15pm on the 15th, it finally went through.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

I found it easy to prepare my taxes. Filing taxes using the electronic method was problematic ... they charged me over and over for the state filing fee without actually successfully filing my state taxes.
