You are illegally collecting CA state sales tax

I bought your software as a download. There’s no sales tax supposed to be charged on downloads. Tax is charged only if there’s a physical disk or sentinel key delivered. Please fix this tax issue. Ironic that the tax software company is incorrectly charging millions in sales taxes. You’re actually opening yourselves up to a class action lawsuit from some opportunistic lawyer.

For the last two years this program's business tax section is not compatable and will not work with Windows 11. We switched to TurboTax this year.

I bought the software to fill out a 1041 form for my father’s estate. However it was so buggy and crashed so many times with an out of memory exception I could not complete the form. I tried for 3 days. Had to buy a competitor’s product.
Cons: Time consuming

I've used the software several years consecutively. Importing information from previous years is helpful. A big negative is that the importing of PDFs was poor. The program's searching the internet for documents is not useful because of security issues.
Cons: Hard to import documents

The personal software works fine. It doesn't hold your hand but if you've done your taxes before, it does what you need. The business software really sucks. It gives you no help on anything...I had to go dig out the IRS instructions on several questions. The software wool give a question like "Here's a tax worksheet/form... click here to complete the form and come back when you're done" Surely you can give me a bit more guidance about what these questions are asking! If there's a reference to the tax code, why can't you give SOME explanation for it? I have to Google so many things and sometimes TurboTax's website has a coherent answer! On the plus side, stuff seems to load a bit faster in this year's version...
Pros: Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
