I bought tje software on line 3 weeks before the filing deadline. Several times I tried submitting my federal and state electronically. My credit card was charged multiple times even though the first several attemps rejected. I need erroneous charges credited to my card.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using it for years but continue to have issues with going to related data - i.e. comes from. There are fields calculated from the interview or other forms but the software does not tell me from where or how it's calculated. It should have full links, so I can see how any field was arrived at..

Software is great but the filing delay due to a glitch with H&R Block server was a nail biter on the last day to file with the system down for 24 hours and a message that you may have to print the return and mail it.

Software is good, used for 10 years at least. But this year was different. 4/14 at 8pm the server stopped working and did not work till 4/15 evening. To mail my returns I had to take a day off, print 3 returns, was ready to mail it, when finally server kicked back and I was able to e-file.
Lots of stress this year. Additionally I would like to say that always have problems with business part of HR Block. Slow, not as user friendly as personal tax part and always problem with e-filing

2023 Taxes process was as usual. Not liking that the extension is not linked to return and you have to pay extra after paying for the software.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

First year not using TurboTax in decade+. Transferring from TT to HRB was great. Fairly easy for the basics but my taxi liability was a shocker this year so decided to file an extension and hire an accountant. The program (or the user) got a lot confused at that point. Eventually got the extension filed. The tax system (and my tax circumstances) have gotten far too complex for me to do my own tax returns.
Pros: Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!
