The place that I bought it from must be selling multiple copies of the same license. Each tax form I e-filed I had to reach out and request a new license because the 5 free submissions were already used up.

The Premium software is great and has no issues. The business software does not allow e-filing for Trust Entities and that is a huge problem; especially with NY.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Between this and turbotax there is a duopoly; not much choice. This is crappy software, but its much cheaper than Turbotax and does the job, for the most part. Problems are that it can't handle K-1s very well -- quickly it stops giving guidance, it just bails on you. Complicated to use. Hard to navigate. Imports fail. But, its cheaper than Turbotax, and for the most part it works ok. Meh
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have used this software for years and find it much more user-friendly than TurboTax. However, the outage on April 14th Was ridiculous. After all these years, it seems, you should know your statistics and have the system to prevent those kinds of things.
