Buying ahead saved purchase cost. Program interview questions are very good, ability to import last year's return is great, help function did not work as well this year as it has in the past versions.

Honestly, the software was quite a bit better than I expected. I've done my taxes online for many years and this software is the most inclusive and advanced I've seen. On many/most lines, it has the ability to click the "ambiguous term" and it will give you a short description in plain English of what it means. However, this feature didn't always work. It seemed about 2/3rd of the way through, the description window would pop-up and it would just contain an error. I pushed forward and had to save/reopen a few times due to my own schedule. So even reloading my return did not fix the description error. I think it just kept claiming I wasn't connected to the internet, when I have hardwired ethernet and zero issues online. It was a bug, flatout.
I would recommend this to a friend!
